DJ Drew Segura, the wedding expert and DJ, began his journey in 2016 at a quaint venue in Pompano Beach, Florida, catering to intimate weddings of 30-50 guests. Recognizing his deep passion for DJing, he transitioned this hobby into a full-fledged career, founding Xpress DJ, which later evolved into Xpress Entertainment. Initially the house DJ at a local wedding venue, Drew’s talent and dedication soon saw him expanding his services throughout South Florida.

Drew’s multicultural background, being born in Indiana and raised in South Florida with his Dominican family, has significantly influenced his career. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he skillfully caters to diverse audiences, ensuring that every wedding he DJs has a vibrant, packed dance floor. His love for music blossomed early, sparked by calling his mom whenever “Hey Ya” by OutKast played on the radio. This enthusiasm was further fueled by playing the DJ version of Rock Band on his PS2, where he would envision himself as a radio DJ.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a turning point for Drew. It was during this time that he reaffirmed his passion for weddings, deciding to focus Xpress Entertainment exclusively on wedding events. While Xpress Entertainment still engages in other celebrations, weddings are where Drew’s true passion lies. This focus has allowed him to specialize and excel in creating unforgettable wedding experiences.

Today, DJ Drew Segura leads the Xpress DJs team, continuing to grow the company and refine their wedding services. His journey from small venues to becoming a sought-after wedding DJ in South Florida is a testament to his dedication, passion, and the unique touch he brings to every event he is a part of.
